Description

Immerse yourself in the beauty of our country’s very own flora with the Philippine Native Flowering Trees Canvas Tote, a special collaborative piece with Ms. Cel Tungol, founder of the Philippine Native Tree Enthusiasts.* More than just a carryall, the bag is your personal guide to some lesser-known flowering trees and their seeds, with its colorful detailed illustrations making identification a walk in the park. Who knows, it may even act as a conversation piece during an errand run or an outdoor gathering with fellow nature lovers. Featured species include:

Flowers: Dapdap, Malakalumpit, Putat, Tan-ag, Digeg, Katmon, Karaksan, Vidal’s lanutan
Seeds: Toog, Tindalo, Banaba, Guijo, Dungon, Dungon-late, Duguan

Don’t worry if you forget – the Common and Scientific names are printed next to the flowers and seeds to help you recognize them in the wild!

The bag measures 14″ (w) by 16″ (h) and has a 4″ wide bottom base. The straps measure  about 23″ long from end to end and are 1″ wide. The design is digitally printed using the sublimation technique which is said to be more eco-friendly and sustainable compared to other garment printing methods.

*The Philippine Native Tree Enthusiasts is an environmental civic group passionate about environmental conservation through the propagation of native trees. A portion of this bag’s sales will be donated to the PNTE to help support their activities.
