Philippine Native City Birds

Designed to help you notice our urban biodiversity every day.

The Native City Birds collection features 12 urban bird species, illustrated with scientific guidance from The Ateneo Wild Project to help you notice and celebrate the wildlife living in our cities. These special collaboration pieces highlight Philippine native birds commonly found in urban areas and are meant to introduce and inspire everyday appreciation for them.

(With thanks to Trinket Constantino and Abby Favis of the Ateneo de Manila University Departments of Biology and Environmental Science, founders of The Ateneo Wild Project, for their guidance and expertise.)

Hello!

Hello!

I'm Cynthia Bauzon-Arre, a Filipino illustrator and graphic designer trying to merge education, function, and purpose while sharing memories of the Philippines I grew up with. Here's why.

Scientifically-reviewed

Information checked with Filipino biologists and foresters to keep species details accurate.

Supports Conservation

A portion of proceeds helps fund forest and wildlife conservation + research efforts. (See Impact.)

Filipino-Artist Made

All artworks and designs are originally created by a Filipino artist. (Definitely no AI art here!)

Purpose-driven

Each piece is designed to inform, educate, and inspire care for our heritage and biodiversity.
