The Flagship Species Initiative (FSI) is a biodiversity conservation project of the Energy Development Corporation (EDC) which generally aims to protect selected threatened flora & fauna species in its geothermal and wind project sites. These species are:

Fauna: Red Lauan (Shorea negrosensis) | Fauna: Visayan Hornbill (Penelopides panini) - Mt. Apo Geothermal Project (MAGP) – Cotabato –
Flora: Almaciga (Agathis philippinensis) } Fauna: Apo Myna (Goodfellowia miranda) - Burgos Wind Power (BWP) – Ilocos Norte –
Flora: Igem-dagat (Podocarpus costalis)
